Selim Bacıoğlu-Murat Sümer İstanbul Gr.N Champion (12.12.2006).
Selim Bacıoğlu-Murat Sümer, who won the first two rallies of the Istanbul Rally Championship, went off the road in the third race that they have been in the leading position. Despite the bad luck, they managed to be Istanbul Gr. N Champion and took the first place in N4. Selim has been the leader throughout three races until he went off the road yet he became the youngest rally winner in Turkey by winning the first two.
Selim Bacıoğlu won the second rally of the championship(27.11.2006).
Selim Bacıoğlu-Murat Sümer won the second rally of Castrol Istanbul Rally Championship in Subaru Impreza N12. The rally consisted of three stages, Selim made best-times in two of them. The road surface was gravel again. He is leading the championship with 40 points, and the last rally is in the 10.December.
Selim Bacıoğlu is the youngest driver who won a rally in Turkey(20.11.2006).
 Selim Bacıoğlu-Murat Sümer won the first round of the Istanbul Rally Championship in Subaru Impreza N12. There were three stages in the rally, and Selim made three best-times. The road surface was gravel. The second rally is in 26.November.

The Agreement of Selim Bacıoğlu with Toksport concerning three rallies has ended after Fiat Rally. Selim Bacıoğlu - Murat Sümer has participated in three tarmac rallies with Mitsubishi Evo 8. The team that Selim will continue the season with is not yet determined.
Good results from ERC (15.05.2006).
Selim Bacıoğlu – Murat Sümer participated in the Fiat Rally, which is the Turkish leg of the ERC, with Mitsubishi EVO 8. Due to the problems encountered in the performance of the car, the couple fell behind their competitors. Nevertheless, they took an aggressive offence leading them to the twelfth place in general category and to third place in junior category.
First rally with Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8 (04-04-2006).
 Selim Bacıoğlu - Murat Sümer participated in the Rally of Ege, which is the first leg of the season 2006, with Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8. At the end of the first day, they were in the fourth place in Group N and the twelfth in general classification. The team increased their tempo at the beginning of the second day and achieved the third place in Group N, ninth place in the general classification and second place in junior category. However, the team lost time as a consequence of the breakdown of the central differential in the tenth
stage. They finished the rally in the fifteenth place in general classification, sixth place in Group N and third place in junior category.
Selim’s automobile for 2006… (10-02-2006).
 The automobile that Selim Bacıoğlu and Murat Sümer will be racing with in the season 2006 is determined. They will be driving Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8 in Group N and will compete for Turkish Junior Championship. TOKSPORT will prepare the car and will provide services.
Fiesta Cup (26-01-2006).
Selim Bacıoğlu was in the first 30 candidate pilots for Fiesta Cup and attended interviews. The ten pilots to race in Fiesta Cup will be announced after the tests that will be completed in a short time. The category that Selim Bacıoğlu and Murat Sümer will be competing in 2006 is not yet determined.
Bad luck in Cyprus (28-10-2005).
Selim Bacıoğlu and Murat Sümer had gone to Cyprus to become the champion of the A6 group yet they could not participate in the rally due to the bad weather conditions which avoided the transfer of their car from Trukey to Cyprus. Selim, who could not finish two races because of technical problems, completed the season in the second place in A6 by becoming the first in three races out of the four he completed and the second in the other.
Selim Bacıoğlu is the winner again (27-9-2005).
The Rally of Kocaeli, which took place on the 24th and 25th of September, was the last rally of the Turkish Rally Championship. Selim Bacıoğlu won the competition in the A6 category with a difference of 18 seconds by his great performance. Among the pilots who were caught in heavy rain in the special stage Kalburcu with dry weather tires, some gained valuable seconds making good use of their experience. Selim secured a 30 seconds advantage under the circumstances and maintained this advantage throughout the rally and achieved victory in A6 category. The champion of the A6 category of the season 2005 will be named in the Rally of Cyprus, which will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of October. The second place in the Rally of Cyrus will be sufficient for Selim to become the champion.
Selim Has the Victory in ERC (12 - 9 - 2005).
 The Turkey leg of the European Rally Championship, which has a coefficient of 20, took place of the 10th and 11th of September. Selim Bacıoğlu-Murat Sümer became the first in A6 without much challenge, after all the unfortunate events that had occurred in the past 3 rallies of the season. They finished the race in 12th place in general category right after the more powerful automobiles; which was a great success.
Simon Jean Joseph-Jack Boyere won the race in general category.
While Burak Çukurova got the best degree among the Turkish pilots, Ercan Kazaz, Volkan Işık and Fatih Kara couldn’t complete the race due to mechanical failures.
Hitit Rally (15 - 8 - 2005).
Participating in the 32nd Hitit Rally that took place on August 13th and 14th with Citroen C2, Selim Bacıoğlu-Murat Sümer completed the rally in second place in A6 category.
Although Selim Bacıoğlu was in the first place at the end of the first part of the rally, due to problems that occurred in breaks and clutch box, the aim of completing the rally in the first place could not be met.
Serkan Yazıcı won the race in general category.
Misfortune in the Pirelli-Rally (09 - 5 - 2005).
 Although Selim Bacıoğlu - Murat Sümer were satisfied with their new car’s performance on gravel surface in the tests done before the Pirelli-Rally bad luck began right before the start of the first stage. Due to the failure of the water pump of Citroen C2, the engine was overheated causing the cylinder head gasket to break down, which resulted in the engine losing power, which was only able to maintain them till the first service. The pilot who won the cup in A6 category was Serhat Keskin.
Selim Bacıoğlu - Murat Sümer got the first place in Group A6 in the Rally of Ege.
 Selim Bacıoğlu and Murat Sümer raced in the Rally of Ege with Citroen C2 Group A6 automobile, which was prepared by Atölye Kazaz, and achieved their first victory of this season. With the participation of six WRC, ten Super 1600, sixteen four wheel drive Group N cars, the rally in Izmir took place last weekend. Taking control of the Group A-1600 group at the beginning, as a result of his spins in second and seventh stages Selim lost some precious time but got the advantage again in the last stage, Çatalca III, and became the first in Group A6 with half a second difference. With this victory, Selim also got the third place in the Turkish Junior Rally Championship, following Yağız Avcı and Hasan Özseyhan.

The new rally car of Selim Bacıoğlu is Citroën C2 Challenge A6.
 Selim Bacıoğlu, who could not get the support of the Fiat Abarth Motorsports team due to the technical issues which were unsatisfactory, will be participating in the rallies in cooperation with Atölye Kazaz and will be racing with Citroën C2 Challenge in the group A6.
In comparison to the car that he drove last year, Palio Kit-Car, C2, with its more advanced technology, has a more powerful engine and has more advantage considering the weight of the car.
The goals of Selim Bacıoğlu are to take the first place in group A6 and to achieve the Turkish Junior Rally Championship, in which the pilots below the age of 24 compete.

Season ended with championship once again.
Representing Fiat Abarth Motorsports both in rally and circuit championships in the season 2004, Selim Bacıoğlu achieved a great success by becoming the champion in the Turkish Circuit Championship for the second time.
Throughout the season, Selim got 5 pole positions out of 6 races, in which he finished in the first place 5 times with Palio Super 1600, giving rise to the championship which he achieved without any difficulties.
Selim Bacıoğlu and Murat Sümer gained experience in rally this season for they have participated in the Turkish Rally Championship for the first time. Carrying out a deliberate improvement with Palio Kit-Car throughout the season, Selim and Murat got the chance to participate in the Rally of Kocaeli with Palio Super 1600.
